Try to repair my laptop Gateway M275 backlight on the screen.

Well then one week on my screen black.I know the laptop is very well .. When I leave the cable on my desktop monitor to my Gateway laptop can see almost everything I know about computers laptop screen fine.So something ... I ordered and replaced the Lcd Inverter Board and still does not work.I realized that there is also a thread harness with CCFL LCD Gateway on Ebay that if IM is bad is $ 20 a bulb ... should try to replace it, or what else could be the problem?

If you replace the backlight, be sure you have the right tools for the job, and a lot of time and patience. Did I mention the time and patience? If you go to your purchase and try to replace the backlight yourself, all I can say is that I wish them the best. I tried once. It took about six hours over three days to complete work successfully.
