Connectind PC (DVI) to Full HD LCD 40 "SONY (HDMI)?
TV: Sony KDL-40V4000 40 "Full HD 1080p PC: GPU - XFX GeForce 9800 GTX + Black Out Edition - DVI both with a DVI-HDMI cable I get a default resolution of a normal LCD screen, CRT monitor 1280x1024 and when I a Full HD 1920x1080 progressive (60 Hz) I have a picture that is too big for my screen (taskbar and all edges are outside the image). When I set to 720p the Zoom effect aggravates. If you know something about this problem please share your knowledge. How can I get them to fill the screen? ps. Please do not be so smart is a ** and call me "the TV is in zoom mode" Believe me, I check twice on these things. TY for help:)
I also have a Sony Bravia and is connected to my computer via HDMI to DVI cable: There is a http://i50.photobucket.com/albums/f347/armchairaviator/computer/IMG_0880c.jpg configuration display area in a call setup menus on my Bravia, which controls overscan / underscan. Must be resolved on "full pixel" for the computer image to be displayed alongside no overscan (cut edges) or underscan (black border on all 4 sides). See if the adjustment is available on your Sony, and good luck.
