Why can't I sell a computer chair?

I have a really nice executive black leather computer chair that's hardly used and a computer desk on wheels and I want to get rid of them because I need the space. I put a couple of adverts in shops at a price that I thought was reasonable but nobody phoned. I have now tried a some free advert Internet sites at a price that's virtually giving them away but still no answer.
Why would it be that nobody is interested at a cheap price?

I'm thinking of just putting them on freecycle to give them away as I don't think I'll ever get rid of them.
I'm in England.
I tried preloved.
Maybe everybody just has laptops now?
