Computer monitors and LCD eyestrain?

CRT monitors have been used 4ever in my PC, I just bought a Widescreen LCD Monitor 22 "5 days, heres the link http://www.abt.com/product/34518.html like the screen, color and clarity is awsome, my problem is that my eyes seem to seek bad, it almost feels "burned" after 2 hours, my eyes I remember very tired, I did not do that on my CRT, I played with the settings as crazy, and it seems that even with the brightness and contrast turned to down, I still, the screen is matte (no shine) Shoul i try to find a diamond? Reassemble the refresh rate of 70Hz, if possible, 60 Hz is the default setting and many people have eyestrain I get it in the monitors CRT.
