Problems with Dell Latitude D610 laptop screen?
I have a Dell Latitude D610 and the monitor has become buggy. When you turn on the computer that indicates the start screen for a second, then goes completely blank, no fade. When I the Close button to close the lid and just watch out, I can foresee a second, but then black again. I do it as many times as I want and have an image "second" what happens, but that's all. Is this a problem with the drive or LCD? Perhaps the backlight?
It is very possible that one several problems. The first thing to do is plug your laptop into a screen and activate the external VGA card, usually by pressing Fn -- F8. If the same problem occurring in the external monitor, the problem is with the video card itself. If the card is the problem of his time to purchase a new computer, because this part can be repaired or replaced because it is integrated into the motherboard. If the problem does not exist the external monitor, your problem is the LCD itself a function of age and probably just better to buy an LCD new also generally come with LCD cables that attach to the motherboard. Hope this helps.
