how much is this laptop worth?

hi all; so i desperately need some money for something so i need to sell my new laptop - how much could i possibly get for this?
sony vaio fw 16.4"
1920 x 1080 dual lamp screen
blu-ray reader/dvd writer
500gb hard drive
4gb 800mhz ddr-2 ram
ati radeon hd 4650 1gb
p8700 2.6ghz core 2 duo
windows vista home premium - comes with upgrade to windows 7 disk
logitech vx nano mouse

since a brand new one is going for over a $1000

i would say a used one with the specs that you listed should sell for $700-800. The specs are amazing, sorry to hear that you need to sell it, but it sounds like a great laptop.

The problem is since most people can buy a new laptop for $600 the chances of you being able to sell a used laptop for that much is slim. Since your laptop is worth a lot more than what you can get, I would recommend not selling it.
