How my work Winows HDD 98 PC in a box external hard drive connected to a laptop?
If I log to disk External Hard Drive (hard disk with Windows 98 in it) to a laptop with Windows XP, I'll be able to use the hard drive as if Win 98 in the PC original, meaning you can use any software (including programs such as Internet access) that sooner or I can use the data files? Thank you.
If you can not configure the laptop (BIOS) to boot from a USB external hard drive that could go somewhere (try safe mode). But it will certainly be able to read data files out of it as Windows XP can read FAT32 (Win98) units.
