How can I test a laptop video card?

I have 3 years old Toshiba Satellite til there was virtually no problem until what now. The screen begins to flash off and it seemed as if I moved the hinge, which come to life. This lasted several days. I was going to pull it and also check for loose connections to the other night .... the problem has worsened and now at reboot - just before the start screen of Windows - The screen is filled with zeros. When the windows are missing, the resolution is mad and when I select a user name and registration on the screen went blank and not again. If you start mode without failure, the screen does not flash, and everything seems to work well. When itgets menu Safe Mode, strange return zeros but do not cover the screen. Instead, and other strange characters appear in the Options menu. One was: "Lqst c0nfiguration Kn0wN Good" or something ... I know there was aq where it should be 0 & werein too many strange places.

This could be a video driver, try uninstalling the video device via the device manager ..... after restarting the Windows display device will install itself with all the defaults, if it does not work, you should go to Toshiba website and download the latest graphics drivers and install it ..... have any questions, email me, I also think yahoo messenger ....
