The product key is invalid!?

I bought a Sony Vaio at Circuit City and installed a number of things for me. Every time I open a document or image on my laptop, which requires a product key and a countdown, how many times I have been see. I grabbed my label product key on the bottom of the laptop and does not work. What should I do? Will I lock? I do not know much about my new computer, someone help me?

The product key you need is probably not the machine - which is probably for Windows itself. wander through the pile of paperwork that accompanies the machine and hope you get a CD for the product you are trying to use. If you made, the product key should figure prominently in it. If this does not work, head back Circuit City with the machine and present the problem. Good luck.
