You can tighten the hinges of a laptop computer monitor / screen?

Otherwise, the screen can be removed any route, so we can save others instead of removing it from the frame of the screen? I just want to replace the screen any computer / COVER / top, is this possible? Mean that there are only 2 plastic hinge holding it right? Am I oversimplifying? Is it some something I should even try? "All materials leaking fluid or something else? I have a S120 Toshiba A45 with a flexible hinge on the LCD attached to the rest of the notebook. Thank you!
