Why LCD TVs have a bevel?
Not even the newer sets that are backlit LED Super Slim seem a front bezel which is about 4 to 6 mm from the surface of the screen. Why is this and why can not be completely flat? OK, so the panel is to stop falling, but why so big? I watched a lot today, and almost all the same. I hope that these metal will shield the heart and computer monitors, why all the equipment?
Something has to have the panel up and cover or protect the sides of the panel. This is the bezel.
