Buzz TV LCD backlit?

I have a Vizio VW26L TV and when I turn on the backlight under 87 in the menu you can start listening to a kind of quiet purr. is not ridiculously high or anything, only hear when I am close enough to the TV and when it is quiet in the room. Is this normal?
