wireless router question?

Note that I am somewhat technologically challenged, so please bare with me on this subject lol. My PC has a virus, it cleans, but the virus returned. age because we do not again. We therefore use a laptop for my sister Internet and connect the cable (which have high speed Internet by cable), which is not portable. I was thinking about buying a laptop but Id like to be able to move into the house with him and always have an Internet connection from my sister wants the same thing with your laptop.
