Airline Carry-On rules?

I take a flight to the U.S. Airways DCA PNS (and back) June 21 It took two visits of this type (both AirTran). The first was in winter 07, and had a large purse (one of those things rolling). The second time was the summer 08 and brought me a backpack that simple time. However, this time I intend to bring a laptop bag and hand luggage or travel air. Is it correct? I've never had a laptop to take with me before all these changes and the new flight as I listened last year I just want to be sure. Besides, what can I do to prepare to fly with what I plan to do?

Most airlines allow a joystick, plus a "personal item" when the point is defined as a bag of personal laptop, briefcase, case of the musical instrument, purse or bag with other children. Most companies carriers also allow you to make a jacket or a change in the items of power. Importantly, even if you wear a bag that can be considered as your personal item, so be ready to store in one of their other bags as you go through the check-in. Most guidelines require air bags fully packed weighs less than 40 or 50 pounds (depending on the airline and the region). In our experience, the guidelines are very reasonable, and for most passengers, baggage must not exceed 25 pounds or less. Good luck.
