Is this it? I am looking for a nice birthday gift (for me) and I need a new hard drive. I only left my laptop Built-in hard drive 6GB, and I suck it faster. You can run with USB power only. However, not all connections USB notebooks provide the necessary energy. If you can not power your laptop, you must use an adapter. If you have led other portable players with USB port, should be acceptable. See page 11 of the instructions in the link in my source.
