Broken laptop screen on my Sony Vaio ..?

A friend left my laptop open on the couch and I think a guitar case hit her. I fired and the team worked, but the screen was black, the exterior has not cracked but inside you can see where it hit. Me I went and bought another laptop, but now I realized my computer was about a year, May is mounting. I have a new, but I love so much and two laptops are better than one! My questions are ... (1) Is it possible for the average person who works well with computers to do with an adequate supply? (2) Can it be fixed? (3) Where can I go to fix it without sending it somewhere? (4) About how brilliant works Sony Vaio Laptop screen? ... Thank you! Part of the money does not bother me much, I love the laptop and bought a new model, but it is possible to set and use, it would be great! I mean dont get me wrong, I like to be cheapest, most effective way (thank you for answering)

Please go to Sony's support page and put your model number and serial number can get the screen number you need. Then Goto eBay and search on the Web and a purchase. I did it 3 times in the doors, but not a Sony. It's not that hard, every time you open the box carefully. But, unfortunately, will not be cheap. Could be as high as 300 or $ 400 .... If you have trouble getting the part number, the best thing I can think of is to go to the local repair shop and request a quote for repairs. The paper estimates have generally the part number and price of it.
