Screen freezes on Thinkpad AC power when you remove?
I have 3 years IBM R50e with the original battery. A month ago, I noticed that the screen will freeze (no mouse movement, not even CTRL-ALT-DEL) so I pulled the power cord into the operations center. The only way to get the PC into normal mode is plug the AC cord and power the computer again. I replaced the battery ($ 70!), but the symptoms have not changed. Lenovo repair is out of question they want hundreds of $ 's just to watch. Any idea what the problem may be?
question must be a power controller. Usually everyone has a diet premium SMD capacitor that stores the charge is enough to storm out of power in microseconds to milliseconds. If they are defective, can hold office or may not respond sufficiently to power. So when you unplug the AC power capacitor discharge is not sufficient to maintain the components of the function. Should be put to the service center. Only a highly qualified technical specifications can solve this problem.
