Is the LCD or inverter bad?

I work at IBM A30p a friend-2653. I recently replaced the hard drive and install Windows XP. When it is finished and I have been creating recently installed some applications, the screen was set to flash, then dark (yet barely able to see what was on the screen), then it was completely black. I closed the lid and reopening, and the display was back, but left again. Looks like it will stay for a while, but after flashing a short period time. I wonder, because the image is good when the screen is displayed, it means that the problem is probably with the map of investors, rather than the screen itself?

I suspect that the connection between the motherboard of the laptop and the LCD screen be the problem. You must remove the LCD from the motherboard and check the connection. There may be some oxidation, which causes the short term.
