Dead / stuck pixels on a computer screen LCD cracked?
I have a laptop cracked LCD (this is an Inspiron 1525). I must go on 3 plane rides in 2 days. Will have my laptop shut down and in my laptop bag on the fly by plane are more pixels dead / stuck. For the last time when I left the computer from hibernation for hours, it has worsened.
I remember that in a way to eliminate dead pixels. I do not remember the cure, but I think it goes something like this. Create an economizer blank screen and run it. It seems that the dead pixel free. Not sure if this has been proposed, but what was supposed work. Have you thought about replacing the screen?
