How do I bypass the "cannot display while driving" function in my car's factory installed touch screen?

I have a 2010 Mitsubishi Lancer GTS with the Rockford Fosgate/Navigation package. When I hook something up to the AV connection (iPod, PS3, whatever), it prompts me with "Cannot display while driving" unless the car is in neutral. I heard there was a way to bypass this (and yes I know it's a safety function) - anybody know how?

You CAN'T. It IS a safety function so ignorant drivers HAVE to pay attention to the road and not cause accidents by looking at their radios. Eyes should be on the road !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
