Are Dell Inspiron laptop computer good or should I wait a year? Here are the details that technology?

I want to get a computer laptop in a year .. is this good? How would you imagine what cost? The specifications are not bad, I have a small HD while one (60 GB I) and I used only half of it so far. Unless you are going to use something out requiring large amounts of memory, I do not think it will be a problem. However, from a former owner of a Dell notes, I would not buy more books between them. When my book was not a problem (about 3 months after the start), I had to fight for the warranty I paid MI. Their support is terrible and it does not really seem to care what happens after you buy their products. To each his own I guess.
